1968 Newspapers

Oak-K Newspapers from the 1967-1968 School Year may be found via the menu to the right all presented in PDF format for viewing or download. The title block on all this year's issues indicate there should be 8 publications, if so, we are missing a probable June issue. However, since all the year end news is presented in the six page May issue, we wonder if there actually is a June copy. Anyone remember?

The volume number also gets kinda confused this year. Starting out at volume 4, it changes to 25 in November. It actually should be 26... but who's counting. Another oddity is there are no days in the issue dates, just months - guess that works for a monthly publication - just different.

Beyond the booking items, 68 is another year of news that will keep your attention. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that high school actually was that much fun. Our appreciation to the Oak-K staff for the excellent reporting and articles of 1968. We hope you find glimpses of the past enjoyable.
