2000 Newspapers

Oak-K Newspapers from the 1999-2000 School Year may be found via the menu to the right all presented in PDF format for viewing or download. We have all eight issues published for the 1999-2000 school year. These PDF copies are search enabled for readers that support search functions.

This year printing of the paper was changed to the Paducah Sun and a major step was made to fit with the ever growing technology of the times; C O L O R!!! That is more than one color in the same image. It was quite obvious a learning experience, on the part of Paducah Sun, not the Oak-K staff. After all a color picture is a color picture, but mass reproducing that color image on a high speed printing press is a totally different science, one obviously evolving at that time. None the less, color is here and destined to stay.
