1984 Newspapers

Oak-K Newspapers from the 1983-1984 School Year may be found via the menu to the right all presented in PDF format for viewing or download.

We have eight out of a probable nine issues published for this school year, thanks to the LOHS Journalism Department. From the published volume numbers, there was apparently an issue number 8 in late April or early May that we do not have.

This year continues with the small "magazine" format, most of the issues were 8 pages. Again for 1984, the Oak-K maintained the Blue Banner recognition.

Some of the issues used the center two pages as a double wide spread with pictures or print cross the seam. When that occurred, we added a third page to that spread and the issue, so that the wide spread content could be easily read and viewed.
