Lone Oak High School
Class of 2012 Collection

About This Site

A graphic in the 2012 annual states "2012 - The End (of their high school career) Is Near." We cannot but believe the meaning was intended to have a far greater coverage. In the last year, high school consolidation has become a reality and construction is well under way for the new McCracken County High School located off of Hwy 62 west of Paducah less than 4 miles from the original 1908 McCracken County High School. But, once again, we digress. All that belongs to history.

The 215 graduating seniors of the Class of 2012 were obviously much more focused on completing and enjoying 2012. As we can tell from the annual, they had quite the exciting and productive year. Brian Harper continued as Principal with Matthew Houser, Angie Woods and Tony Jarvis as Assistant Principals. Allen Franklin retired after a long and steller career. If the central office looks like a year to year revolving door, there is good reason; the new high school will need them all.

For 2012, we have the Oak Leaves Annual in all it's colorful glory. We also have the on line newspaper NewsFLASH, to be added in the near future. We hope you enjoy the collection for 2012 and if you have addition information that is applicable to the Class of 2012, please e-mail the site Webmaster. Please provide contact information so that we may reply.
