About This Site

This site presents archival information for the LOHS Class of 99, so far we have the yearbook and all nine Oak-K newsletters published during the year. The new LOHS is finally completed, but in the comments of some, it doesn't feel like home; more like a secure compound. The Heath shooting will have a lasting effect not only on those involved, but on school across the county, state and even nationally. Security was now a prime concern; guards, cameras, fences and new policies. The September Oak-K tells it from the students perspective.

The Class of 1999 graduated 215 seniors. Wallace Adams continued as Principle and Buddy Rushing as assistant. The many achievements of the school and the class are documented in the newspapers and the annual. Another outstanding year.
