Lone Oak High School
Class of 1995 Collection

About This Site

This site presents the information we have for the LOHS Class of 95. For 1995, we have the yearbook and eight of what we believe were eight Oak-K newsletters published during the year.

If you have addition information that is applicable to the Class of 95, please e-mail the site Webmaster. Please provide contact information so that we may reply.

Wallace Adams continued as Principal with Buddy Rushing as assistant for this school year. The 200 seniors of the Class of 1995 would not get to enjoy the benefits of a promised new high school, in fact, the Frshman of 1995 would be the first to completely enjoy the new building. A story in the September 94 issue of the Oak-K explains some of the reasons why - seems the county and the city were arguing over students. With the overcrowding, one would think there were plenty to go around.

Class of 1988

In spite of county/city discussions, plans were in the works and a rough design is presented in the November 23, 1994 edition of the Oak-K, the architect concept design may be seen to the right. Anyone attending LOHS from the fall of 1998 on will ready recognize the diagram, as funding and delays prevented construction from actually starting until the summer of 1996. In the meantime, life goes on at LOHS as is obvious from all the articles and pictures to be found in this years collection.
