1972 Newspapers

Oak-K Newspapers from the 1971-1972 School Year may be found via the menu to the right all presented in PDF format for viewing or download. We are batting 1000 for 71-72 will all seven issues of Oak-K Volume 30 thanks to LOHS Journalism Department archives.

With all the excitement this year, it doesn't seem like the 30 year anniversary of the Oak-K was noticed and in fact was incorrected noted as 21 years in one of the issues. While we certainly don't have all the issues, the LOHS Oak-K has been in continuous publication since the fall of 1941. Those that we have prior to this year very likely survived the February 72 fire in the file cabinet pictured on page 4 of the February 16th issue.
