About This Site

The Class of 1970 has their own web site, which you may access by clicking the image above or via the menu selection to the right. For the purposes of the archival project we will also provide copies of the 1970 Oak Leaves, available Oak-K Newspapers and other information on this site.

The Class of 1970 graduated 180 seniors into the ranks of the alumni and from a quick review of the yearbook, it was a busy and exciting year. LOHS had entered the world of high school football the previous year and although far from top ranking, made significant progress in a short time. Basketball ccntinued to be the primary sport of focus, but momentum was building fast for the football program.

Glenn Dexter remained as principal, as the student population continued to grow and excel at every level.
