Class of 66 - 50th Reunion Slideshow

Ok, so your too busy catchin up on gossip and fishing stories, not to forget eating, to watch the Reunion Slide Show. We get that, as well as being guilty. After numerous requests for a copy, both in our class and other years, we decided to put the whole thing on line - which presents particular problems in that the show was an MS Office Powerpoint Presentation.

First, we have to present compatible formats for those who do or do not have MS Office; those who do or do not know how to work with powerpoint. So, to cover the bases the show is presented in four formats. Surely, one will fit your needs.

Secondly, IT'S LONG!!! Runs almost 45 minutes. This slide show first showed at our 40th Reunion in 2006 and was mostly a "tongue in cheek" paraody of our school years with content from our high school annual. Later it was edited and added to for the 45th Reunion in 2011 to include a sampling of photos from all previous reunions. And finally once again updated for the 50th. For the 50th, we incorporated slides in the time line for those classmates who have passed away since our high school years. One thing to remember; except for the sarcasm, everything in the slide show and more is available in the other content sections of this website.

Finally, the show has not been updated for the 50th content or since the 45th. This is the show run at the 50th. We do not plan on updating it until our 55th... and then it may run longer than the reunion...

The various versions are explained below, choose your flavor. Enjoy! We certainly had fun putting the show together. WARNING!!! These files are HUGE, 280MB average.

Windows Media Video - Created from within Powerpoint 2013 at 960px x 720px (SD), a WMV is a compressed video with sound. Clicking the button will initiate a download to your PC. Save the file and run it after download, it should open in any version of Windows Media Player. This WMV file will download to, but WILL NOT play on Apple devices unless you have an after market video player such as VLC.

Auto Running PPTS - IF you have any version of Microsoft Office 2007 or newer, download this file to view the slide show as the original presentation. Initiating this file will run the slide show full screen without having to know anything about Microsoft Powerpoint. Stop it at anytime by pressing the ESC key.

Self Running Executable - IF you have NO access to Microsoft Office or Apache Open Office, this file not only contains the slide show, but also a built-in viewer. Highly compressed, this executable program will take a few seconds to respond, and then will load a stand alone Microsoft viewer (which you will have to agree to a license screen). Press ESC to stop the show. Re-run as often as you wish.

Original PPTX - IF you have any version of Microsoft Office (2007 or newer) or Apache Open Office newer, download this file for full viewing and editing capabilities.
