1966 Newspapers

Oak-K Newspapers from the 1965-1966 School Year may be found via the menu to the right all presented in PDF format for viewing or download. Thanks to the LOHS Journalism Department and Brenda Straub Osborne (66), we have all 7 issues from the 65-66 school year.

The volume number increments from 1964-65 to Volume 2 even though the format is essentially the same as previous years. The actual volume number should be 24 and will be re-instated in a few years. The volume/issue number from last year and this certainly didn't affect the quality of the publication as the Oak-K was awarded an International First Place Award from the Quill and Scroll Society.

Our appreciation to the Oak-K staff for 1965-66 for the excellent publication. We hope you find these memories enjoyable.
