“Squeeze you arms! I don’t want them looking like noodles!’, Mrs.Mckenzie yells this to all of the young ladies trying out to be a future McCracken County Mustang Male or Female Cheerleader! We had 6 open gyms that were split evenly at all 3 schools. Tryouts were a 2 week long process, which were also divided evenly among the three different schools.  There is two teams. An All girl team which consist of 23-25 girls, and there is a co-ed team which consist of 8 boys and 25 girls.   With that being said only 12 girls will actually get to compete since there can be 20 members on a coed squad.
