    Mustangs on 3..1,2,3, MUSTANGS! Thats now what you will hear during sports now a days!  With the end of the school year approaching us fast and the final chapter of Lone Oak sports coming to a sad end.  We have already started practicing for the new school.  At first it was gonna awkward, but now i really do enjoy it!  I’ve spoke with a few of our football players, and they seem to be pretty pumped up about the season! Their first game is August 24 against Paducah Tilghman at McCracken’s Stadium.  Their has been a lot of new sports added for next year, including LaCrosse and Wrestling.  All sports that start in the fall have started having Open Gyms to invite all people from wherever to come and start practicing to get an ideal of what the squad will consist of. 

    From personal experience, I cheer, and every thursday we have our open gym and rotate between the three schools.  At first it was really group oriented, but we started making new friends and getting to know each other and become great friends.  If you would of asked me two years ago how i felt about it i would of said, “I hate the idea.”, but now I can barely stand it I am so excited! Go Mustangs!
