The Year is Coming to an End
The Year is Coming to an End

Well, the end of the year is finally here! It’s the 4th quarter of the school year and teachers are already starting to pack up their rooms and wrap up their lessons. For some people this means packing for trips, or just enjoying the sunny weather. For others, this means saying goodbye to all your friends and family, packing up your childhood room, and going off to college.
For everyone, the end of the year is a transitioning time. The freshmen transition to sophomores, the sophomores to juniors, and so on. The most difficult one, though, would be the seniors, transitioning to freshmen again. All in all it’s an exciting experience for everyone.
Unfortunately this is when what I like to call the “end of the year fever” sets in. Students stop doing their work, teachers stop teaching, and everyone already has their mind stuck in summer. It gets even worse after spring break! Thats when the junior’s “Senioritis” really kicks in.
Personally, I can not wait for the last day of school, to run out in the parking lot and be able to say that it will be my last time in that school for 2 whole months. There really isn’t a better feeling than that.
