McCracken ain’t Slackin’

It has been a hot topic for so long, it is hard to believe that the new McCracken County High School will be in session in six short months.

Students definitely were opposed to it at first, but as of recently, it looks as if everyone is on board.  Mostly because there really is no other option, but to be on board, but also because of the new opportunities the school is providing.  Benjamin Dolan (11) will be a senior Mustang next year.  “I’m most excited for all of the new people,” says Ben.  And new people, there will be! Rana Edem (11) will also be a senior next year and he says he is most excited for “all of the ladies...yeah, fresh.”  While that’s a given, there are also some pretty neat classes to anticipate as well.

The new McCracken County High School will offer electives, such as Production of Sound, Functional Keyboarding, Website Design, and is said to have a student-ran news channel and radio station.  The long drive from Reidland will definitely be worth it.

Though the new school was dreaded, it looks like it is really going to prove to be beneficial.  If not for the classes, the ladies.  Yeah.  Fresh.
