           The movie Argo follows Tony Mendez, played by Ben Affleck, as he tries to create a plan to save six American hostages that escaped capture from Iranian militants and are seeking refuge at the home of the Canadian Ambassador.

        First he goes to Hollywood where he recruits two movie industry veterans to help set up a fake film. Mendez then flies with the crew to Iran in disguise of a Canadian film producer trying to find desert locations to shoot a sci-fi movie called Argo. The plan is to fly all of the hostages out of Iran by convincing the Iranian military that they are all part of the film crew.

       Watch the film to see if Mendez’s plan was a success and the hostages got home safely, or if the Iranian military figured out they were getting played.
