    The volleyball team took on Woodford, Dixie Heights, Cooper, Tates Creek, Dunbar, and Ryle in the BlueGrass Invitational on August 18, with a victory over all of them.  They are ranked 16th in the state.  They have went to state the past years and it has been a close first game. The LO volleyball team is determined this year to go to state AND win a state championship ring.  There are four seniors on the team this year:  Kalia, Sam, Jess, and Alexis. 

     The Lady Flash have 10 District Titles, 2 Regional Titles, and 2 State Appearances.  The team is aiming for their 1st State Champion ring.  They have put blood, sweat, tears, hard work, preparation, time and of course love in making this season the most memorable for the last year of Lone Oak.  We are Lone Oak.
