    The Lone Oak Cross Country team is working hard and looking forward to a very successful year. The team is looking to overcome any challenge that gets in their way.

    On Thursday, August 27 the Cross Country team competed in the Heath Pirate Invitational at Stuart Nelson Park. The team gave it everything they had and ended up running away with first place overall.

    The team’s next meet will be the Madisonville/North Hopkins Invitational at Madisonville/North Hopkins High School on Saturday, September 1. Followed by the St. Mary All-Comers at the Greenway Trail in Bob Noble Park on Tuesday, September 4 at 5:00 P.M. You can come and support your Lone Oak High School Cross Country at any of their meets. Come and help cheer on your fellow flashes to victory!
