I dread this senior goodbye because it will only bring me to the reality of graduation happening painfully soon. Unlike many others in this year’s senior class, I’m not anxious to get out of high school. I haven’t contracted a severe case of senioritis. I’ve enjoyed high school immensely. Though there have definitely been many frustrations and doubts, I’m hesitant to leave it all behind. I hate to sound cheesy, but it really does fly by.
The things that have made my high school experience so great are as follows: the teachers I’ve had, the friends I’ve become closer to, and the activities I participated in. Mr. Whitley, Mrs. Carter, Mr. Jarvis, and Mrs. Hinz are the best teachers EVER. I don’t want to have to leave all the friends I’ve become closer to, especially this year. Pretty much all of us are going separate ways for college, so we’ll have to try hard to keep in touch. Last, but not least, participating in cheerleading all four years, Biology Club, and Beta Club have made high school worthwhile. With cheer camp, Mammoth Cave trips, and, most of all, the two El Salvador trips I’ve been blessed to take, I’d say I’ve definitely fulfilled all my expectations of what high school should be.
