Tennis Program

A late addition to our LOHS collection comes from Kim Helfer Tate and Jessica Richards. Sports was always big at Lone Oak and as of 1972, that included Boys and Girls Tennis programs. While the document reproduced here was probably an annual publication, at present we only have the 1988-1989 edition. Designed in yearbook format, but at a much lower printing cost, this was a side stabled letter size document most likely produced on the school copier. None the less, it is filled with information and memories from the 1988-89 Tennis season.

Also found were the newspaper articles from the Paducah Sun pictured here in. If your peruse the news papers, it is obvious high school sports of all shapes and sizes were big items. While researching the origins of these articles we found plenty of reading material which we won't try to reproduce here. But these two seemed to highlite the LOHS 1989 season.
