About This Site
In 1975, only 190 seniors graduated from LOHS. We say only because in previous years the graduating class was over 200. Following years also show a leveling off of enrollment. While statistically 1975 could be shown to begin the decline of the baby boom, it will be a short lived respite as population growth also meet economic growth of the community - and that is continuing.
The header image above is only the newly designed segment of the building that replace the most damaged part of the old structure-that of the center/office section and old Gym. This section houses the library, administrative offices and 11 new classrooms.
Life at the school is pretty much back to normal after the 72 fire and very much enjoying the newly renovated space. Bernie Behrendt continued as principal. For all the other exciting action you will need to read the annual and newspapers.
We hope to build on the collection for 1975, but for now enjoy what we have. If you have addition information that is applicable to the Class of 75, please e-mail the site Webmaster. Please provide contact information so that we may reply.
