1967 Other Publications and Memories

This page holds a collection of programs and publications from various events familiar to the Class of 67, and for that matter other LOHS Alumni. We hope all enjoy this trip down memory lane.

6th Grade Graduation

Up until the fall of 1959, elementary students in the Lone Oak and south county area attended classes at the high school along with 7th through 12th grades. In 1959, a very futuristic Lone Oak Elementary opened to grades 1 through 6 and all elementary grades moved from the high school to the new elementary school. The future LOHS Class of 67 was the 2nd class to graduate from Lone Oak Elementary. Their graduation program, including a list of graduates, is shown below. An interesting thing to note is the list of teachers; for 60-61, the school is down from four to three 1st grade teachers for the class of 100 6th graders.
