1953 Annual - The "Flash"

The 1953 LOHS Annual also has another distinction; it was the last LOHS Annual for the next 10 years - another annual was not produced until 1964. Instead of fully composed and bound annuals, smaller pamplets "spotlighting" the senior class were produced. The 1953 annual was 85 pages, not included blanks or autograph pages. We can only speculate why the drought in annuals, but in reviewing the class sizes coming in future years and the costs of building the necessary school system, it seems a little obvious.
